Unfortunately he was on the edge opposite the music box which was on the other edge. The last guy can't get to the box because it would tip the platform and the box would go over the edge. If the box goes over the edge he'd never be able to go to an edge (he'd be limited to near the middle)! So he's stuck now in one spot... alone!
