What a rubbish lecture. At the end everyone felt too awkward to simply ask... "So... like... what is the Alexander Technique?". I would've raised my hand and said: "What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational? thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul".

The message is very useful;? the delivery is kind of understated and boring! But I find the practical advice useful.

Feldenkrais is a ripoff of the? Alexander Technique! Google it!

I bet this is good but not better than Feldenkrais which teaches you that there is no set way to sit, stand, etc. but rather you find out? what works for you. I'll stick with Feldenkrais. :)

A.T. is only hands-on. There is no way to truly explain it in a traditional sense. Via touch is the only way that the information is passed from teacher to? student. Sign up for a group lesson with a few others for a taste, and you will certainly 'feel' the difference. I've tried lots of garbage, but A.T. is no bilk.

I really want to learn something about the Alexander Technique but got no concrete information from this. Why not? He could have used the sitting example? describle in detail what's going on but provides no real details. Speaking as if this is something mystical is no help. His introduction basically states this is to esoteric to talk details. What a boon for this dude to bring the Alexander Technque into the corporate world. Who remembers the corprate training bilkers from the 90s?

I've experienced this technique and I know it works... what I particularly appreciate about? this video is that John Baron describes the technique in such practical terms that anyone can immediately try this and see for themselves.
