hey there! i have a robo and to wat i know, robos living alone requires more attention from its owner than the robo tat lives wit another of its kind.. yep, don't give up! :) he'll be fine! in about a week or two i bet he will be really tame! and just keep handling him and everything and he will be just fine. lester jumps when i try to pet him too but he jumps, but he'll get used to it, i promise:D

him. Oh well he is only six weeks old and withe me for three days. I guess we just have to get used to each other. Thanks ever so much for your help. I added a very short video of him to my videos. I look forward to getting better pictures and videos of him.

He accepts treats from me. I have not moved beyond this. I leave the hand in the cage for him to smell. I learned today that it is good to wash hands first as he attempted to nibble on my baby finger at one stage. LOL! It was not a bite though. I hate the cage I have as it opens from the top, the worst way to approach a hamster apparently. I will get a large tray to place the cage in and remove the top and commence lifting him from below. He is very easy going but jumps when I try and stroke >

thanks for watching! it is good that you got him a bigger cage. just play with him and do some of the taming methods a few times a day and hopefully soon he will be ready for his new home!

I love the tube tip. Thank you ever so much. I hate the way my cage opens from the top when they do not like to be approached from teh top. I ordered a new cage but it is gigantic and I am not putting him in there untile he is tamer because if I put him in now he will have somewhere to hide.

How did u manage to get him to not like run away when u try and catch him, i have 3 and all of them except 1 r reasonably calm when ur holding them but crazy to catch...whats the secret? or have u had this guy for a while...ive only had mine a few days, i got a video of them goin' mental on their wheel if u wanna check it out.
