The Importance of Self Improvement

Why is it important to improve yourself?

Have you ever said to yourself either aloud or silently “I wish I was somebody else.”

Why is it that we think and believe that somebody anybody is better than us.- when in truth most people are not.

We look at others, envy them for appearing so outrageously perfect that we wish we could trade places with them, while, guess what they look at us and thinks of the same thing. We are insecure of other people who themselves are insecure of us.
We suffer from low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence and lose hope in self improvement and personal growth because we are overcome by quiet desperation.

Success… A Personal Definition.

Success What Does It Mean To You?

Isn’t every day a full day - not enough hours so many things to be done. You likely have family and employment responsibilities. You may even offer some of your time occasionally to different worthy causes. But when the end of the day arrives, do you feel like you have had a successful day and that you are truly a success? Or do you feel used up and worthless?

Success Is Not Defined By How Much You Do

In truth many people run themselves ragged every day, like a dog chasing its tail, searching for that slice of life they think will make them feel happy and successful. Often, this can lead to misery and dissatisfaction…sometimes, in extreme situation even depression. Ending Procrastination…

End Procrastination With Motivation ?

Do you think the best way to deal with procrastination is to “get tough” with yourself and “just do it?” Plenty of people take this approach. This supports the idea that procrastination is basically a character flaw, a weakness, and the only way to deal with it is to power past it through sheer will. But the truth is there’s a more effective way to approach the challenge that also happens to be much more self-respectful.

Basically, the idea is to discover what is MOTIVATING the procrastination behavior, consider it legitimate, and then address that. For example, you may be putting off doing something because you actually do not know how to do it. The way to solve that challenge would be to get some help. Or, perhaps you’re avoiding making a particular phone call because you’re afraid of the outcome. The way to address this fear is to arrange a call with someone you trust and can confide in before and after the fear-inducing call. Now you know you have support both before and after the difficult encounter.

Get the idea? Abandon the character flaw idea, and look for what is really underlying the procrastination. Once you know what that is, you can usually figure out a way to deal with it, get unstuck, and get moving again.

Why Doesn’t The Law of Attraction Work For Me?

Universal Laws and The Law of Attraction Not Working?

You say: I’ve been trying to use the Law of Attraction in my life, but it just doesn’t be working for me. Everything in my life is still the same as it was before. Why doesn’t the Law of Attraction work for me?

I answer: First, I must tell you the Law of Attraction is always at work, whether you realize it or not. It sounds like you may be experiencing some frustration because things are not going the way you expected them to. Truth is, things probably are happening exactly as you expected them to. Allow me to explain…

The Law of Attraction is in constant motion. What this simply means is that you are attracting your deepest intentions. Now, those intentions may be different from what you think your intentions are.
Let’s say, for example, you want a raise at your job. So you start thinking about that, meditate on it, and ask for it. In the back of your mind, though, you may be thinking something like, ‘This isn’t going to work. How can just asking the Universe for something make it happen? I’m not sure this is going to work for me.’
Those negative thoughts just canceled out any positive energy you may have been vibrating towards getting that raise on your job! Here’s another thought for you…
