Appreciate, or depreciate!
- English proverb
I would like to share with you some of the views of Dr. John Demartini one of the teachers in The Secret talking about the Law of Attraction and money.

Following my posts a couple of days ago about some tricky questions and The Secret, I came across (attracted?) an online article which Rhonda Byrne, the person behind the film and the book, gave her views on some of these issues.
I’ll need to re-read it before commenting, but I’ll paste the text below and you can form your own opinion. In any event, it’s an interesting read.
Regards
Chris

I was recently re-reading the book which goes along with the movie The Secret
and I made note of a number of quotations which I felt summed up the whole idea of the Law of Attraction.
Rhonda Byrne’s four words at the end capture it very well.
Warmly,
Chris

Even though these days I am focusing more and more of my energy on the Law of Attraction and enjoying the benefits which flow from it, from time to time I have periods of self-doubt and pessimism (and I know I’m not alone in this).
My rational mind tells me that this serves little, if any, useful purpose, but it’s still easy to get sometimes get wrapped up in negativity a while. (Do you ever feel like this?)
I was therefore very interested and inspired to read an article on this subject by Rhonda Byrne, produce of The Secret. I’ve pasted it below, and hope you enjoy it too.

Have you seen these two movies? And have you watched them one after the other? That was how I saw both of them for the first time, starting quite late in the evening (around 9.30pm at a friend’s house).
Frankly, it was a bit too much to see them like that, especially when I was already tired at the end of the week. What’s more, we viewed “What the Bleep†first of all, so, after we had had a break and some more to eat and drink, “The Secret†was nearly a midnight screening.
Perhaps inevitably, I found that they two movies tended to blur in my mind, and the next day I was unsure as to which ‘teacher’ was in each film.

We just received the following from: A Secret Scrolls message from Rhonda Byrne,
Creator of The Secret
“In honor of one of the past greats to whom I owe so much, we have created a gift for you. It is The Optimist’s Creed, written by Christian D. Larson almost 100 years ago. As you read this wonderful piece of writing you will discover its total harmony with the teachings of The Secret. The words have been modified slightly to make them even more powerful. Be sure to read the words “I Promise Myself” at the beginning of every new line and you will maximize all the power of The Secret.”
