Wealth and The Attitude of Gratitude

Look and you will find it - what is unsought will go undetected

- Sofocles

Are you grateful for your present financial position? Do you think that you can through personal development or self improvement bring about a change in your current financial position? I know that being grateful for one’s present financial situation can be very challenging at times. But for us to experience true wealth we must first master our “attitude of gratitude”.

For a lot of people, managing their current finances becomes a source of constant fear and pressure. There are some who can truthfully say that they are consistently grateful for their ongoing financial situations. The more grateful they are though, the faster they tune into the forces that attract greater financial abundance. This Gratitude Effect can attract abundance into your overall life.

So a lot of people are unable to motivate themselves because they are in the habit of constantly saying to themselves that they don’t have enough money. It is this very attitude of “I don’t have enough money” that can itself become a self-defeating prophecy and make their lives on the face of it miserable. These people often overlook the abundance and many riches that actually surround them because they are too busy worrying or feeling “less wealthy” than others.

Accepting Life Improvements

Can You Accept Life Improvements

Can you accept that in life there are things you can change and things you cannot change?
Do you have the power to admit that often other people change things, rather than you changing them? Do you accept that, you are a unique person, you are who you are, regardless of what others may think of you? Can you accept the many changes that constantly take place in your life?

If you answered yes to any one or even all of these questions then your personal development and self improvement are off to a great start. When you are willing to accept, you then have the ability to laugh, even when something may not be funny. For instance, if someone pushed you, you could stand back and laugh. The push is only a threat to your emotion, which you will see, accept and find a way to gain control of the situation.

Individuality is unique and personal. Many people in the world believe that when we act the same way all the time, that we have established our identity. I strongly disagree with this. We have emotions, thoughts, behaviors, actions, and have been influenced by a world which is both good and bad. Every day we will feel something new, which causes our personality to reflect on these changes. Therefore, when you see someone laughing one minute and crying the next, you are seeing a change in emotions, which is a normal pattern of growth in a person.

Living in Reality to Better your Personal Life

When you live in reality you better your personal life.

Reality is close to you everywhere you go. When you attempt to break away reality, you only block yourself from growing. Your qualities inside you are blocked also, as you’ll find out its difficult to develop new skills or be open to new ideas that will help you develop and grow.

Today, we are surrounded by poverty, crime, poor conditions, war, hate, and so forth. The forces of life combine to drag each of us down. It’s up to us to get the better of these ongoing conflicts and obstacles that get in our way. One way we can do this is to face reality head on.

It’s all right to fantasize about good things from time to time. But it is not hunky-dory to sit down entirely day dreaming about things you’ll never achieve. Whenever you have realistic dreams, you will set down-to-earth goals that lead you to success irrespective of the circumstance close to you.

Time Management Answers:

Organize Yourself in a style that Works for You

If you are like most people existing or living in the 21st century, you keep up a very full-on and feverish schedule each and every day. Therefore, efficient time management is a fundamental element in your life. When it comes to time management, there are a lot of different articles, books and videos on the market that offer people information about how they might want to approach scheduling and managing their time. Most of these articles, books and videos provide what might better be called a cookie cutter plan of attack to time management. A person could justifiably say, these articles, books and videos offer the same time management solutions for everyone in every type of circumstance - a simple one size fits all.

Actually, each person has different time management needs, requirements and objectives. What could work for one-man when it comes to time management and effective scheduling may not work at all for a different person. Why do I think that this is so I believe that each and every person has different time management and scheduling needs and overall personal and professional obligations.

Keeping that in mind, I believe that the most efficient type of time management systems is one in which an individually planned approach to time management and schedule coordination is developed.
Organized in a manner most suitable to the individual and not the simplistic one size fits all mentality.

Personal Development- what is it ?

Personal Development- what is it ?

I believe that personal development is a lifelong journey which includes the identification and growth of self by nurturing, defining and bettering your skills, knowledge and interests. The intent is to raise your effectiveness and adaptability, while at the same time to minimize the chance that your skills might become out-of-date or you might become redundant.

In the work environment personal development does not inevitably mean upward movement, rather it’s about enabling you to grow and improve and to reach use your full potential at each career stage. It is about making you a more rounded and balanced person.
The stages of yourpersonal development are usually recorded by way of a plan. Remember that failing to plan has been linked to planning to fail.

A good personal development plan (PDP) involves deciding what you want it is that you want to achieve, where you want to go, and when you want to do it. So it should include both short term and long term purposes, identifying your needs in terms of skills, knowledge or competence. The personalized plan should also specify the development that is suitable to meet those perceived needs. While scheduling and timing (planning) are important, they should not be too regimented.

Healthy Foods and Organ Look-alikes

Healthy Foods - Health is Wealth

I was reading the “Encyclopedia of Whole Food Medicine” and came upon the following incredible information that I believe I should share with you.

Avocados, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs.
Today’s research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers.
And how profound is this? It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit.

Carrots - when sliced it looks like the human eye.
The pupil, iris, and radiating lines look just like the human eye…and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

Do You Settle for Mediocrity

Winners never quit and quitters never win

In Personal Development as in life true success can only be achieved by not accepting mediocrity, we should always motivate and stretch ourselves to achieve and to get the most out of life that we possibly can. It’s only if when force ourselves and commit everything that we’ve got can we then allow ourselves a pat on the back for a task well done.

Success in life depends on many things including self-discipline and not buckling under at the first challenge we come across or entering a project only half heartedly, by pushing oneself and stretching that little bit more you will be astonished at what you are able to accomplish. This is what separates the winners from the losers, the successful from the unsuccessful. Winners never quit and quitters never win

We all start out with the best of intentions when racing towards the goals we have set, we shoot out of the starting gate and run down the straight but many of us fall back at the first hurdle, we don’t push, we run out of steam when the going gets tough and don’t pause to catch our second wind but come to a halt and give up, or stumble on half heartedly and cross the line in second or third place at best.

A lot of people say that they want to succeed in their life and are motivated but very few are really willing to actually push themselves them that bit further so as to achieve their goals, and this is why some succeed in life and many others fail. Your success is all about how big your “why” is, why you want the success, what success means to you. Are you willing to succeed a little, or are you willing to go the whole way and beyond to achieve the higher status of a winner and be outstanding?
