The voice of my conscience.

Conscience sometimes feels like a separate self – nagging away in our minds.

What good is self improvement and personal development if it is not shared with those we love and care for?

As we continue talking about fears here are some thoughts of phobias.

Phobias can also limit your self improvement and personal development because phobias are often considered a rational.

A phobia can appear to be ridiculous and exaggerate such as the fear of flying or of water. Often people who have developed phobias are truly aware that their fear does not have a basis from rational thinking but they still cannot mastered their emotions and rise above the irrational fear.

The power of fear.

Did you know that fear is so powerful that it can block your personal growth, development, and self-improvement. It can even affect your ultimate success in life.

The debilitating power of fear he is known to limit a person’s ability to lead a happy and healthy life.
Fear can become so powerful as to effectively take all for a person’s life to such an extent that they are unable to reason.

Anyone who has had fear take over their life has been prevented from leading their normal life experiences, but they are not the only people affected by this other people affected include friends, family, work colleagues and anyone around the affected person.

Enlightenment

Two views of enlightenment.

Often when I am listening to or reading personal growth material I have to remind myself of the different views of enlightenment.

It is said that Western thinkers traditionally mean by enlightenment is the triumph of the reason [over, for example, self gratification, seeing, tradition or prejudice], whereas Eastern sages habitually see the term to mean the souls triumph over reason, as in the Buddha’s moment of enlightenment under the Bodhi tree.

The one that places emphasis on understanding, the other on the acceptance.
