GOING BACK TO STEP FORWARD

Part of my journey in personal growth, development and self help
has required me to spend time looking inside me and being honest
with the most important person in my life - ME.

For years I have shone at and been outstanding in
taking actions and having thoughts that
COULD NEVER have brought about positive results
and personal growth.

The Importance of Self Improvement

Why is it important to improve yourself?

Have you ever said to yourself either aloud or silently “I wish I was somebody else.”

Why is it that we think and believe that somebody anybody is better than us.- when in truth most people are not.

We look at others, envy them for appearing so outrageously perfect that we wish we could trade places with them, while, guess what they look at us and thinks of the same thing. We are insecure of other people who themselves are insecure of us.
We suffer from low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence and lose hope in self improvement and personal growth because we are overcome by quiet desperation.

Fear and Optimism - The Little Engine That Could

Frozen By Fear

The Little Engine That Could is a children’s story. It tells of a small train that was faced with a steep climb up a very large hill. Half way up the hill the little engine started to feel as though it was an impossible task. Fear set in.

“Will I make it?” the train wondered. “What if I don′t? What if I run out of steam before I make it? What if I′m not equipped with a strong enough engine to handle this?”

The fear grew inside as his speed slowed with the climb. Soon he crawled to a stop. “I can′t make it,” he thought.
