Why Men Don’t -

Why Men Don’t Communicate - continued

Continuing with a possible answer may be that even those men who have feelings to share do not always feel at ease sharing them with their partner. Here are some of the reasons why certain men often prefer to bottle it up and internalize their feelings, rather than sharing them with their partners:

Males Need To Unwind
From a woman’s viewpoint: once a man walks in the home, he should share some of the details about how his has been so far. After all, it’s been perhaps 10 to 12 hours since they’ve communicated, that is face to face not counting the number of text messages, voice mails, and perhaps even a couple of actual phone conversations.

From a man’s view: Need to go to the bathroom. When men reach home, it’s like those ultra-marathoners lurching across the finish line in the Sahara Race. The very last thing they want to do is talk about how bright the sunlight was, the reflections from the moving sands dunes and how scarce the water stops were.

Why Men Don’t - (part 1)

Why Men Don’t Communicate -

(part 1)

Almost all women believe their man is the strong, silent type (or perhaps just the silent type when it comes to sharing their emotions), and they wonder how come he does not share his feelings.

Well here’s the simple truth: Men really do want to open up, about their hopes, their fears, and their passions. Yet arrange for him to be alone in a room with you, and he often turns into a Sphinx - living out the saying “Silence is Golden”. Why can’t he take his eyes off the TV and discuss the state of your relationship, or your financial position, or anything that would open his true emotional feelings? Why can’t he simply sum up his day in a few minutes?

Recent surveys have shown that in fact, one in five women say that they commonly fight about a man’s lack of verbal communication and interaction, and one in three men state that their failure to communicate effectively is the source of major disputes in the relationship. Now why is that so?

Cap Go Meh - Chinese Valentine Day

Cap Go Meh is the 15th day in the Chinese Lunar Year, the first full moon of the year.

In China it is also known as the Lantern festival.

In South-East Asia, Cap Go Meh is sometimes called the Chinese Valentine Day, because it is a day when young unmarried women gather to toss tangerines into the sea, in a hope that their future spouse will pick it up.

VALENTINES DAY - OPPORTUNITY TO THINK OF:

It’s Valentines day, a wonderful opportunity for us all to reconnect with Universal Laws.

Although some people consider Valentines Day too commercial, and I understand that, it is still an opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of love in our lives. It is an opportunity to thank people and to rekindle our spirit of gratitude and generosity.

Valentines Day, for me, is a reminder of what is required everyday of my life in order to bring happiness to others. It is a day of priority, a day we become present with someone, a day of thankfulness, gratitude and appreciation. Valentines day is a day we turn down our phone, and turn up in love.

Wealth: Your Financial Treasures - part 2

“Riches serve a wise man but command a fool.”

— English proverb

The Answer -

Link it to what you love.

Make a list of reasons why saving money and building wealth could change your life and how it could contribute to the people you care about and love. Don’t just write down one or two benefits. List more than 100 (and if you’re ready to go for it, list 200 or even 300 or more) reasons why saving money and building wealth will serve you and those you love. Get family members involved if you think it would be wise and help reinforce the new ideas and feelings you’re generating about wealth. Likewise, while you’re making this giant list, be sure to fully engage. Get inspired, be thoughtful, and entertain yourself with the possibilities.
