Law of Attraction and Goal Setting

Many people with an interest in Personal Development have expressed to me the wonderful results that they have been getting by applying The Secrets concept of the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attractions is a Hermetic Doctrine originally from Egypt and was, I believe, also known as the Law of Cause and Effect. Many of you may be familiar with this concept perhaps from your goal setting perspective.

When people apply the Law of Attraction (or Cause and Effect) and still don’t get what they want they often ask why?. I believe that when we attract things into our environment they are attracted by magnetic pull on three different levels.

Level 1 We can set our goals based on conscious goal setting i.e. in our mind, and manifest the result.

It is all within you

So much of the time, we expend energy in blaming outside forces for our situation, while not appreciating that we have the power change just about everything around us.

We are made of the same ’stuff’ as everything else: energy. If we align ourselves with the laws of the universe, we can attract whatever we desire into our lives - this is the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction

The “The Law of Attraction” has become a commonly-heard expression - especially amongst people who have watched the move The Secret and have embraced its core message. People all over the world have found that they can use these principles to enhance their lives in many ways, including physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally and materially.

Some have criticized the movie for focusing too much on envisioning and obtaining material possessions. Most of us know, I think, that money itself does not make us happy, and happiness is what we strive for. So why the emphasis on material achievement?
