Keep Your Integrity

It’s more precious than diamonds or rubies.

The old miser said to his sons:

“Make money; get it honestly if you can, but get money:”

This advice was not only terribly evil, but it was the very heart and soul of stupidity:

It was like saying, “if you find it you can’t get money honestly, you can easily

get it dishonestly.

“Poor fool!”

Not realizing that one of the most difficult things in life is to make money dishonestly!

Prisons are full of people who tried to follow this advice; without realizing that you can’t be dishonest, without soon being

found out, and that when this happens as it will, nearly every road to success is closed.

Society blackballs those whose integrity is doubted.

It doesn’t matter how respectable and nice a person may seem to be, none of us want to hang with a person

we suspect deals with “false weights and measures.”

Honesty is the basis for all success in life (financially).

Uncompromising integrity is priceless.

With integrity comes a peace and joy which cannot be achieved without it–and this is something that money can’t buy.

A person who has a reputation for being honest, may appear to be poor, but they have the trust of their community –because everyone knows that if they promise to return something that they have borrowed — they will.

Remember that “honesty is the best policy.”

Sharing

Here is an interesting story that has an interesting point – I don’t know how true the story really is but that doesn’t matter does it ?

There once was a farmer who grew award-winning corn. Each year he entered his corn in the state fair where it won a blue ribbon.

One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something interesting about how he grew it.

The reporter discovered that the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors.

‘How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?’ the reporter asked.

‘Why sir,’ said the farmer, ‘didn’t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbuors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn.’ He is very much aware of the connectedness of life. His corn cannot improve unless his neighbor’s corn also improves.

So it is with our lives. Those who choose to live in peace must help their neighbors to live in peace.
Those who choose to live well must help others to live well, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches.
And those who choose to be happy must help others to find happiness, for the welfare of each is linked with the welfare of all.

The lesson that I got out of this is: if we are to grow good corn, we must help our neighbors grow good corn.

It is possible to give away and become richer!

It is also possible to hold on too tightly and lose everything.

Money Doesn’t Disappear

I’ve been reading and hearing a lot lately about how bad things are and how the economy is nothing but gloom and doom.

If you are a news addict and are following the news media you’d think that the sky was falling and that it’s time to rush to your underground bunkers, lock the door, pull the blanket over your head and get ready for the …!

Well, I’d like to change the way that people are looking at and talking about this.
With all the talk of superannuation “vanishing” and world stock exchanges rising and falling like the wild seas I think we’ve all lost sight of one all important factor.

MONEY DOESN’T DISAPPEAR!

It doesn’t vanish, it doesn’t go away. It doesn’t cease to exist. It simply changes hands. So, as house values, share values and bank deposit interest goes down…out there, somewhere, is that money. It’s never gone!

As stock markets fell faster than a shooting star, the money wasn’t burning up in a ball of fire…it was moving from one bank account to another.

So how about this idea – Money Is Energy.

Think about money. I mean have you ever really thought about it.

Where does it come from?

How do you get it?

Here’s a few ways that I think you can make money:

* Work at a job
* Own a business
* Invest
* Rob A Bank
* Beg on the streets
* Get An Inheritance
* Marry into a wealthy family

Those are just a few ways to “make” money. I definitely don’t recommend robbing a bank (lots of work, and there’s easier ways that don’t involve prison time), and begging on a street corner is really a pretty tough gig. You’ve got to deal with hecklers, cheapos that throw pennies at you, and there’s a certain stigma that comes with the territory..

Now here’s the really fascinating part…t

All these “things” we do for money…they are based on “action”. And according to Isacc Newton and his Newton’s Law, “for every action, there an equal and opposite reaction”.

This means, to me, that when you put something out there, you’ll get something back. This is one of the most basic premises of the Law Of Attraction. It’s often expressed as “Like Attracts Like” .

So, here’s where it really gets interesting. Money is energy. Energy is required to have money in your life.

So, this is what it means to me

Money is energy. Energy lasts forever. Energy doesn’t “die”, it simply changes forms. A mighty river pushes water through a turbine. The turbine “takes” that energy and spins. The spinning of the turbine converts that energy into electricity.

Money is the same.

You take an action (you “give” energy). You are rewarded with money (energy). You use that money to get things you need.

And the cycle continues.

Money & Destructive Thinking

Are you one of those people who are against money and successful careers?

Hey it’s a common view that “money is the root of all evil” and
many Americans believe that the corporations and the government
are only out to exploit people for their own power and control.

My thoughts are that having a lot of money does not necessarily
mean you are evil person only out for your own power and control over others.

The Biblical quote often used to support the thought that money itself is evil actually reads like this “The love of money is the root of all evil.” – 29 (1 Timothy 6:10,

Many great people who have lots of money become philanthropists
and help to solve enormous problems all over the world.

I suggest to you that it is the attitude that we carry toward wealth and
power that creates the negative ideas that many people often think and speak of.

A number of religions and spiritual leaders promote the idea that you have to be poor and unemployed in order to be spiritual. What a crock this is a reverse sort of egotism and I suggest that this can lead to a type of thinking where people will frequently see themselves to be
‘better’ than the rich and successful simply because they don’t have any money or success themselves.

As time goes on, these less fortunate people become unhappy in their lives because the rewards and benefits they dreamed themselves that they would eventually get for their commitment to poverty has for some reason not materialized in the way they had hoped. They become furious at the world and everyone around them as if some
mysterious power had taken over their lives and caused them to fall into a terrible bad luck.

This problem only comes about because of people’s negative thinking.
They dream of a future when everything will fall apart for the rich and successful and they will get their just rewards. The future never arrives for them having lived a life of poverty and unemployment and they wonder “What went wrong?”

Financial IQ Education — its importance

Why you must invest in your Financial IQ.

Having a great or good Financial IQ is not about saving loads of money it is the developing of a healthy relationship between money and you. It is building wealth through the acquisition of assets that will generate more money for you. Your money should be working for you rather than you than you working for money.

The power of delayed gratification is one of the most important aspects in the developing your Financial IQ.

Let me ask you a question. When you need to buy a carton of milk have you ever considered that there are actually two options available to you? You could either buy the carton of milk or you could buy the cow that produced the milk. Radical thoughts!!

When you buy milk carton it is consumed and then it’s over and you then have to buy another milk carton for the next time and this goes on over and over again as the milk carton costs less than a cow.

Now let’s say that the cow costs 2500 times more than the milk carton while you may think that you are paying through the nose for the cow you should consider that if you the purchase a cow after you have consumed 2500 cartons of milk your investment would be at break even and future milk would be free or at a low cost. In fact the cow might even give birth to two or more calves that you could sell for profit.

Everyone is capable of creating well.

So in developing your Financial IQ do you see the cow as being the producer of a cartoon of milk or as a source of wealth that can give you calves and a continuous source of milk?

The Creative Powers of a Mantra or Two

Do you know that mantras are a powerful way to generate the focus and energy necessary to create something in your life.

It is recommended that mantras should be short and sweet – one word or a simple phrase. Here is a generic mantra to increase the flow of money into your daily life. You can sat this in your mind when you are doing everyday jobs such as driving or cleaning, or if you want you can speak it aloud for even stronger effect.

Remember that self-created mantras are more powerful, than ones that are not created by yourself because they may lack the passion, or urgency that a self created mantra can relate to. Therefore feel free to change or alter this in any way that relates to you and your situation. One of the mantras that I personally use is :

Money flows easily and effortlessly to me.

When I verbalize this, it seems to flow from the end right back into the beginning. A self-perpetuating mantra would be ideal, because then you can think or speak it for awhile, and so set it on like auto-pilot. The way to do it is to focus conscious energy on your mantra for awhile, and then set it as a background. This engages both your conscious and unconscious mind, and has powerful effects.

As I speak that, if I feel the sudden urge to change it. I may feel the need to say it louder, or softer, or accent and stress certain words. I may begin to speak in a way that goes around the central mantra. For example:

Money flows easily and effortlessly to me. Huge sums of money flow to me with ease. Now, money is flowing to me, even as I think and speak. Money flows to me easily. Greater amounts of money flow in than ever flows out. I have more money than I need, and I can now give when I want to. I have freedom of time and energy to do the things I want because money flows to me easily and effortlessly. Now, money is flowing to me even as I speak.

As always, you must be patient as you begin something new, assume patience and assuredness that your efforts will yield your desired results. The beauty of a mantra, more so than other methods, is that you can do them anytime, anywhere, as often as you think. Mantras can be used during parts of your daily life when you don’t have time for visualization. You can do mantras at home, in the bath, in the yard, in the car, while eating dinner, at work, in meetings, while waiting in line… Just about anywhere that you have the freedom of thought.

Healthy Foods – Health is Wealth

I was reading the “Encyclopedia of Whole Food Medicine” and came upon the following incredible information that I believe I should share with you.

Avocados, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female – they look just like these organs.
Today’s research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers.
And how profound is this? It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit.

Carrots – when sliced it looks like the human eye.
The pupil, iris, and radiating lines look just like the human eye…and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium.

Link it to what you love.

Make a list of reasons why saving money and building wealth could change your life and how it could contribute to the people you care about and love. Don’t just write down one or two benefits. List more than 100 (and if you’re ready to go for it, list 200 or even 300 or more) reasons why saving money and building wealth will serve you and those you love. Get family members involved if you think it would be wise and help reinforce the new ideas and feelings you’re generating about wealth. Likewise, while you’re making this giant list, be sure to fully engage. Get inspired, be thoughtful, and entertain yourself with the possibilities.

Next, focus on what you ranked as your highest value when you completed the discovering-your-values exercise. How will saving money and building wealth help you experience richness in this area to an even greater degree? Once again, come up with at least 100 ways in which money supports your highest value. Now take a look at your second highest value and so on, continuing down the list. By the time you’re done, you’ll have hundreds of reasons why saving money and building wealth can make a significant contribution to your life—and the lives of people you love.

If you link saving money to whatever is already most important to you, you won’t subtract from your wealth, you’ll naturally add to it! Remember how you automatically convert your cash into your values? When saving is tightly connected with your highest values—whether children, philanthropy, social action, business, or whatever those values are—your cash will be converted to savings in support of those values if you’ve realized enough reasons for it.

In this exercise, you’re priming yourself for a new cash-management strategy, one that includes appreciation for what saving and building wealth can bring to the rest of your life. When you’ve completed this exercise, you’re ready to implement some of the key strategies for accumulating the material riches you’d love to have.
