Half Way Mark

As we reach the half way mark for 2009 I thought it would be interesting to revisit one of New Year Predictions and see how we are tracking in 2009.

This outlook was based on Chinese Astrology for 2009 and I agree that the Chinese New Year didn’t start on January 1 – I still thought it a good point to start from.

When Your Fear of Success Stops You

Are you holding yourself back and not achieving your potential – what some folks might call being self limiting or self destructive?

Some people fear success just as much as others fear failure. As strange as it sounds, it’s true. If you know that you have allowed fear to stop you, I have some great words of encouragement and inspiration for you today.

Lets start, first, allow yourself to succeed. Stop thinking about all the times you’ve failed in the past. That’s in the past. Allow yourself to live in the here and now.
Living in the past only does one thing- it keeps you there in the past. Do you really want to stay stuck in the drama of last month, last year, ten years ago? I don’t think so.

“Know yourself”

It was a reminder that as well as seeking the counsel of others we must also look inward at what he is going on in our bodies, our feelings, and our minds.
