Finding Motivation

How To Find Motivation

I hate to exercise. I really do. I feel good afterward, and I’m definitely getting in better shape because of it, but I hate it. It’s a real challenge for me. Anyway what do my exercise habits have to do with finding motivation? Hang on for a few moments and it will all make sense. It may even be enlightening.

My latest physical check-up highlighted a few health challenges and lots of room for improvement. I’m planning an active holiday and the check-up showed that I would not be capable of enjoying the holiday and taking part in the activities unless there were some big changes in my health. That was a strong motivation to get back in shape, right? Sure it is, but that didn’t make it easy.

I’d get on the treadmill bound and determined to walk for 30 minutes, and I’d find myself getting bored out of my mind and irritated with the soreness in my muscles 15 minutes into it. Half the time I would just give up, and the other half was so aggravating that I vowed never to do it again. Of course, my motivation was strong, and so I’d try again the next day.

Life And Stress

Life with a grain of salt

Not permitting things get to you and taking life with a grain of salt is the answer to living a happy stress free life; it’s when we don’t recognize how much stress we are building up because of holding things back, worrying about many little things and harboring grudges that many problems come about in life. When we allow these things to build up we get the sudden and urgent sense of being overwhelmed but often there are many different techniques that we can use to slow down, relax and take life that little bit easier when our feelings threaten to overwhelm us. If we don’t learn to take things with a grain of salt and not worry about each and every little thing and stress becomes habitual then it can have a severe effect on your health and wellbeing.

“Burnout” is the condition or term that is commonly used and you can suffer burnout through problems caused by work, your lifestyle or individual personality characteristics. The symptoms of burnout can be varied but all have an adverse effect on your health, wellbeing and happiness over the long term if you don’t change the situations that cause it.

So remember “Take your life with a grain of salt”

Attacked By Time Thieves

Have you been ripped off by Time Thieves?

We all know how valuable time is and how once a moment of time is lost it are time lost forever.

How can one talk about ripping off such a valuable resource.
Well here’s the way the story goes. There are a lot of time thieves in this world and what you have to do is that you have to identify these time thieves, look out for them and stay on your guard of them. Only then can you put your available time to the maximum possible use.

The time thieves that I have listed below are more or less general.

Imagination And Cultivating It.

Imagination And The Benefit Of Cultivating It.

The mind can make substance and people planets of its own.–Byron.

The universe to man is but a projection of his own inner consciousness.– Kant.

Imagination is the most powerful and, in many ways the most interesting of the powers of the mind.
Without it the mankind would be sterile. Not only would there be no pictures, no music, no books, but there would be no houses, no bridges, no great business enterprises — nothing.
In truth for everything that man has created he had first of all to conceived it in his imagination before it could come into creation.

Living in Reality to Better your Personal Life

When you live in reality you better your personal life.

Reality is close to you everywhere you go. When you attempt to break away reality, you only block yourself from growing. Your qualities inside you are blocked also, as you’ll find out its difficult to develop new skills or be open to new ideas that will help you develop and grow.

Today, we are surrounded by poverty, crime, poor conditions, war, hate, and so forth. The forces of life combine to drag each of us down. It’s up to us to get the better of these ongoing conflicts and obstacles that get in our way. One way we can do this is to face reality head on.

It’s all right to fantasize about good things from time to time. But it is not hunky-dory to sit down entirely day dreaming about things you’ll never achieve. Whenever you have realistic dreams, you will set down-to-earth goals that lead you to success irrespective of the circumstance close to you.

Life Explained

An Explanation of Life

I came across this interesting and amusing summary of life.

On the first day, The Creator created the dog and said:
‘Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years.’

The dog said: ‘That’s a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I’ll give you back the other ten?’

So The Creator agreed.

Healthy Foods and Organ Look-alikes

Healthy Foods - Health is Wealth

I was reading the “Encyclopedia of Whole Food Medicine” and came upon the following incredible information that I believe I should share with you.

Avocados, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs.
Today’s research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers.
And how profound is this? It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit.

Carrots - when sliced it looks like the human eye.
The pupil, iris, and radiating lines look just like the human eye…and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
