REFLECTIONS ON MANIFESTING ABUNDANCE - 1
The “The Law of Attraction” has become a commonly-heard expression - especially amongst people who have watched the move The Secret and have embraced its core message. People all over the world have found that they can use these principles to enhance their lives in many ways, including physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally and materially.
Some have criticized the movie for focusing too much on envisioning and obtaining material possessions. Most of us know, I think, that money itself does not make us happy, and happiness is what we strive for. So why the emphasis on material achievement?
Why all the talk about money?
Money is neutral: neither good nor bad. In fact, it is not even a physical ‘thing’ - even bank notes are just a token or symbol of value, and their significance can be changed at the stroke of a pen (consider countries in which the currency has been re-valued or even replaced altogether).
No, like everything around us, money is an expression of energy which can be directed, if we are wise, to the service of others. It is in this way that we achieve true fulfillment in our lives.
Putting it another way: We receive money when we deliver value or render service to others. When we have money, it also allows us to extend the reach of the service we give to others. We only have to look at the philanthropic works of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett to see what can be achieved in this area.
So money is a measure of the value we bring to others, but we must also recognize that it is something which is essential in the world we live in, without which life for us and our families becomes very hard. Those who live day to day, fully spending what they earn, may be able to continue in that way throughout their working lives, but things will probably become a lot more difficult upon retirement. Such a life is not filled with abundance, and it is difficult for a person in this situation, who, within the context of our society, is focused on survival, to have a major positive impact on the world.
Also, the material rewards which money can bring are things which everyone can understand and visualize so they can be useful ‘tools’ on which to practice the Law of Attraction (and the various techniques which go with it). As we learn to train our creative mind so as to align with the universe and deliver material rewards, we can also use the same skills to develop our lives in other ways.
So how does this work?
As has been stated by physicists, at the most basic level everything is made up of energy - and our thoughts consist of electrical energy in our brain - and everything in the universe is interconnected, including physical ‘things’, ourselves and our thoughts. Because of this interconnectedness, what we hold in our thoughts influences things, people and events around us. So in order to achieve certain goals, we must hold positive thoughts about those goals - for example, think about the achievement of abundance, not our fear of poverty.
Is that all there is to it?
This is not quite a simple as having everyday thoughts, such as “What shall I have for dinner tonight?”.
Firstly, we must deepen our awareness of ourselves and how our mind works. This can be a difficult subject to get to grips with, but experienced teachers such as Bob Proctor can give us great insights and help bring us to understanding faster.
Secondly, we must generate and hold our positive thoughts in the right way, with the right intention and in the right frame of mind. It really comes down to focus - how do we quieten the chatter of our busy minds and allow our concentration to come to bear on a particular objective.
Some people have achieved this by using the disciplines they have developed though years of meditation. But for those of us not in this position there are tools we can use to help our progress, such as Stephen Pierce’s Attraction Accelerator audio program. Daily use of this program has been shown to greatly enhance focus and manifestation of desired goals and dreams.
Thirdly, we must take action to align what we do with what we have decided to think. Certainly, we may bring what some might call ‘good luck’ into our life through our own efforts, but this is more likely to occur if we take practical steeps to facilitate it.

With the right awareness, mindset and actions, you can make the Law of Attraction work for you.
Part 2 of these ‘Reflections’ will explain more about the way that we can make our thoughts and desires into Reality.

Great post there on the physics of the law of attraction. You seem to have found parts of the puzzle on how the â€Law of Attraction†as outlines in the movie “The Secret†interact with each other. Want some further information look in at
