‘Time Management’
I’ve always thought that this is a strange expression.
Time is both a man-made concept and also an inescapable phenomenon, which, unless we are Dr Who or able to travel at the speed of light, we are unable to influence in any way. Time just keeps ‘happening’, 24 hours a day, regardless of what we may do.
Why, then, is so much ‘time’ apparently devoted to the subject of managing the unmanageable, including courses, books and even whole ‘systems’ (remember the Filofax?)?
The truth is, of course, that none of this is really about time management. Instead, it is about self-management, with specific focus on prioritization, organization and efficiency, all with a view to increasing personal productivity.
Whatever we do, there will always be results of some kind. It is through personal development that we are able to have the mindset and take action to allow the Law of Attraction to bring into our lives the results we want, either now or after the passage of time.
