Inflated Ego
How frequently have you started a fight just to satisfy your ego?
How often have you become angry just because people aren’t giving you the respect you think you deserve?
Have you ever felt bad just because you were not as successful as you think you should be?
How many times have you become depressed just because you weren’t able to reach the goals that your ego was demanding?
Some people live their whole lives fighting for the sake of satisfying their inflated egos. We all have the feeling that we are worthy even those who feel inferior. The problem is when this sense of self-worth becomes exaggerated to the extent that it leads the person to a life full of suffering and pain.
Lots of people remain unsatisfied with their relationships yet they fail to get out of it just because of the fear of what people might say about them they took action.
I know that for some life problems there aren’t any other practical solution other than believing in a higher being. Believing that this higher being is the one who is in control of everything and that they are the one who is responsible for whatever happens to you is the only way to letting go of their Ego.
Perhaps everything that we posses now is because of what this higher being gave us. It doesn’t happen that people are given these things directly, after all you can’t just wake up and find money beside your bed but instead you are given the tools like your mind, conscience or even the chance to meet with people who inspires you.
Those tools are the things responsible for your current identity and for all of your achievements. If you have an inflated ego then don’t put yourself down or think that you are a narcissist but just ask for the right tools because this higher being is the only one who can provide you with them.
