Phobias …

Phobias are also fears
As we continue talking about fears here are some thoughts of phobias.
Phobias can also limit your self improvement and personal development because phobias are often considered a rational.
A phobia can appear to be ridiculous and exaggerate such as the fear of flying or of water. Often people who have developed phobias are truly aware that their fear does not have a basis from rational thinking but they still cannot mastered their emotions and rise above the irrational fear.
Phobia has been linked to insanity. I don’t believe it is reasonable to conclude that just because a person is phobic that their sanity is called into question because I believe that a phobia is really an uncontrollable fear. There are people who show extreme physical reactions when they come face to face with their phobia, such as uncontrollable shivering, shaking and sweating .
Phobias can appear to be as simple as the fear of being in an enclosed area or the fear of public speaking and the list goes on. Lots of phobias are characterized by the panic attacks that the person suffers when they are forced to come face to face with it.
It is normal to be afraid because fear is rational. However a fear that has become irrational and without basis is a phobia, it is no longer normal and can severely disrupt a person’s lifestyle.
It is important to be determined and strong willed so that your fears do not rule your emotions.
When you can learn to handle your emotions then I believe you can get rid of any phobias that have taken over your life and your life potential.
As always interested in your thoughts and views.
Take care stop

I suffer from ergophobia (look it up)! No seriously, phobias can be scary for sufferers and can seem ridiculous to others but it is an extremely common problem. Luckily there are solutions to the problem if you’re prepared to work at it.

The most common phobia I get asked to treat is a fear of vomitting. Nearly always women, nearly always mothers.
