Wealth and The Attitude of Gratitude

Look and you will find it - what is unsought will go undetected

- Sofocles

Are you grateful for your present financial position? Do you think that you can through personal development or self improvement bring about a change in your current financial position? I know that being grateful for one’s present financial situation can be very challenging at times. But for us to experience true wealth we must first master our “attitude of gratitude”.

For a lot of people, managing their current finances becomes a source of constant fear and pressure. There are some who can truthfully say that they are consistently grateful for their ongoing financial situations. The more grateful they are though, the faster they tune into the forces that attract greater financial abundance. This Gratitude Effect can attract abundance into your overall life.

So a lot of people are unable to motivate themselves because they are in the habit of constantly saying to themselves that they don’t have enough money. It is this very attitude of “I don’t have enough money” that can itself become a self-defeating prophecy and make their lives on the face of it miserable. These people often overlook the abundance and many riches that actually surround them because they are too busy worrying or feeling “less wealthy” than others.

If we don’t appreciate the wealth that we have received already, we are more likely to lose out on the life it can bring us.
Our wealth in life is directly proportional to the amount of gratitude we have. The Law of Attraction lets us know that if we don’t appreciate our life, if we don’t appreciate what we have, it becomes less meaningful to us and what we have can then simply become clutter and noise.

To overcome this impression, begin by creating an ongoing list of all those things you can be grateful for: things that you already have, such as, money (no matter how little this may appear to be to you) and those other assets, and opportunities to produce more, so that you can then receive more.

Everyone has wealth. If you think you don’t, you just haven’t recognized it yet because it’s in a form that you cannot yet see. Your wealth can be in many different forms such as in the form of your children, you friends, your business, your spirituality, your body, or anything really.

If I can ask you to take one thing from this article, let it be the knowledge that you are not missing wealth. You already have so many things that you can be grateful for. But if you would love your wealth to be in the form of hard cash, you have to appreciate that form of wealth otherwise cash is not going to show up in your life.

Please remember that the word wealth has more to do with well being than with money. Money is just a convenient measure of exchange.

Everyone has wealth and abundance, it may just be in a form that we cannot recognize.
