Personal Growth – Success thru Self Help

Everyday, you learn about new millionaires who have made it big in their field. A few of them are at senior positions in some of the world’s leading companies, others are running their own businesses and some others have come out with a revolutionary idea that has made them a millionaire nearly overnight! What is “the secret” to their achievement ?

When you see that kind of success, do you ask yourself – “How can I do that?” “How can I be the next one to join the millionaire gang?” “How did they reach that place?” The answer to these questions are actually somewhere inside you. Your subconscious and your inner self know your capabilities and how you can achieve what those others have BUT you only need to discover it inside you.

At the root of it, at any point of time, all we are doing is selling ourselves to earn success.

When you are working in a company, you are selling your mental capabilities to earn a salary. When you are doing physical work, you are selling your physical capabilities to earn a wage. When you are running a business, you are selling your physical and mental capabilities in the form of the marketing and advertising you are doing AND your product or service.

Thus, at any point of time, you are essentially a salesman trying to sell something to someone – to your employer, your supervisor or if you own the business, to your prospect.

What does this mean for you? It means one simple thing – You need to have something that makes you different, something that makes what you have appeal to the person you’re trying to sell it to.

A salesman sells a product based on a Unique Selling Point or USP as it is called. The same is with you. Why would a company appoint you as a manager over thousand other candidates out there? Simple – you have an MBA degree. This is your USP for that company. Now, why would a well-known and large company appoint you as a manager out of all your fellow classmates? Simple – because not only you have an MBA degree, you topped your class during the MBA course. This is your USP for the large company.

One thing is clear: If you need to succeed, you need to have something unique to give IN THE EYES OF THE PERSON YOU’RE trying to GIVE IT TO. Whether you want to start a business or get into a big company, you need to have something to show for it. This something is right inside you and you can bring it out through self improvement.

Your primary goal in whatever you do as a career is SUCCESS. Why? Because whether you want to enjoy the comforts of life or you want to provide financial security to your family, you need success. In this blog, through I will be sharing with you how you too can motivate yourself through self help, self motivation and personal growth to generate killer ideas to help you succeed in life just like the “big players” do.
