I believe just about everybody has heard the hit single ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ by Bobby McFerrin. The song has a really attention-getting way of bringing its message of being happy to everybody. Bobby McFerrin’s uncomplicated message certainly made numerous people happy by telling them not to worry.

Living a happy, bouncy and cheerful life is fantastic, and is also beneficial for your wellness. Being happy actually protects you from the tensions of life. Stress is connected to many of the top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.

One of the more healthful things ever said is – ‘The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change’, and in our life we have the ability to make the essential changes if we really want to. Whenever we find ourselves in an intolerable situation we can always find comfort in the knowledge that it too would change.

Human relationships are essential to happiness. Everyone is unique, accept people for who or what they are, avoid frictions, constant disagreements, and let go of all the resentments that you hold. Happiness actually exists in everyone, increasing it is a way to make a life more wonderful and also more healthy.

Being happy is relatively easy, begin by deciding to be a happy person. Abraham Lincoln observed that most people for most of the time can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their day would be. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy.

There are a lot of ways by which you can do this.

Feel alive. Allow your body to run, jog, walk and do all the things that is was made for.

Avoid exposure to negative factors such as loud noises, toxins and dangerous places.

These are a couple of simple things you can do regularly to be happy.

And remember the famous quote from Abraham Lincoln, he says that, “Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.”
