inspiration!?!?!??!!?

Every sound sounds like a new one. Four almost a year i have been playing bass and about 5 months guitar. My ears have really opened up to music. My friends and I have been trying to start a band. But one problem lyrics we have been trying to write them. The last couple of months I have been listing to a lot of music and old songs that I thought I knew reopend to me. And I have been thinking a lot and writing my thoghts of words and sounds of songs. Could this be inspiration?

yes, but dont listen to other music for it. try to do somethin different. inspiration can come from anything, and as miraculousely as it shows up, it disappears. so i recommend carrying a little note pad a jottin down ideas. i wrote an entire cd in like 3 weeks just from doin tht.

the only way to find out is get out some paper and a pen and start writing. Don’t think… just write. It works for me.
When in doubt, try something new- if you can’t get the words out on paper go sit in a park and just think, watch, listen…
paint/ draw… it works, well… it does for me anyway
