I have not been on the inspiration but I have been on 5 cruises including to carnival cruises. Cozumel is a cool port with alot going on. If you like beaches or watersports, it is a great place. There are alot of private beach clubs which you can get to by taking a cheap cab. There is also a national park on the island which has alot to do. If you are a diver or want to try diving, there are close to 100 dive operators on the island. For something different, you could try the dune buggy tour offered by cozumelhomes.com It is a total blast. In GC, when you get off the boat, there will be a bunch of stores and a bunch of taxis. If you want to lay out on the beach take a taxi to 7 mile. If you want to shop, it is all right there. Alot of people do the stingray city thing, It would probably be a good thing to do if you have kids. Also the diving is great there. I would recommend neptune divers.

Cozumel is a place to do water sports, like snorkle and scuba. There not much to see on the island, so don't go for an island tour. there is some shopping if you are looking for jewelrty, silver, and leather.

Grand caymon has justa few things to do. When we go in Nov I plan to just take a cab to 7-mile beach and chill. Be suer to get some Tortuga Rum cake, its great
